From Shame to Glory -Joel 2:26
From Shame to Glory
Promise verse: Joel 2:26
You will eat and be satisfied, with you will praise the name of the Lord your God, that has done great things for you; And my people shall not be put to shame”.
God doesn’t just restore—He satisfies.
In the midst of want, He promises over-flowingness.
In the space where there was emptiness, He fills with good things.
From that satisfaction, there is a heart of praise.
Your name had previously been laughed at.
Your efforts appeared to culminate into failure.
People distanced themselves from you.
Shame was sown on your shoulders like a shadow.
But God declares:
I have worked wonders for you.
I’ll never allow my people to be put at shame”.
This is a promise of restoration from God!
Beauty for ashes, honor for Shame.
Consider Joseph:
Once he was betrayed and unjustly accused and put into prison.
However, at the given time, God lifted him and gave him honor in a foreign land.
He was not brought to shame.
he was elevated in glory.
You are God's chosen people.
Your story isn't over yet.
Today, believe again:
Shame is not your lot – your portion is glory!
Prayer:
Dear Lord, I thank you in advance for this promise.
I commend you for what you have done to provide me with provision.
Take away my shame and come over me with Your glory.
May it give me life to live with joy and honor in the name of Jesus Amen.
